461 (Chichester) Squadron was formed as a unit on 22 February 1941.
We are based in the centre of Chichester and welcome young people aged 12 to 18, as well as adults who are interested in becoming volunteer instructors.
We have a fully functional unit where we offer regular archery sessions and competitions, climbing at our local indoor wall, and the chance to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.
Cadets also have the opportunity to represent the squadron in drill, banner and band competitions, as well as aircraft recognition, adventure training (fieldcraft and leadership), shooting, first aid and rocketry.
