Tangmere Airfield Memorial
A memorial on Tangmere airfield was unveiled on 16th Aug to remember seven crew from 10 squadron who lost their lives in 1943 when their Halifax bomber crashed after suffering severe damage from a raid over Germany. Four members of the Queens Colour Squadron also stood guard.

461 at Machu Pichu
In August two 461 cadets went to Peru where they spent two weeks working at the Azul Wasi orphanage building a new accommodation block. They then walked 75 KM along the Salkantay pass to Macchu Piccu.

The squadron has recently bought some archery equipment since two instructors became qualified archery instructors. Archery is on the programme at least once a month and we have lots of competitions!
